Hi, I'm Lily! Or Lilay because we're close like that:)
Hand me a camera, a few LEGO bricks, and a quiet moment to myself, and I’ll lose track of time. I’ll build characters, dream up elaborate plots, and bring them to life–that is, through my dad’s 2011 Sony point-and-shoot. Looking back, I realize I wasn’t just having fun. I was experimenting with how to turn ideas into stories.
That same curiosity continues to shape the way I create today. As a visual storyteller and video editor, I’m drawn to the space where creativity meets strategy. Whether I’m behind the camera or meticulously piecing footage together in the editing room I’m always looking to find unique ways to bring ideas and brands to life through visual storytelling.
I aim to empathize with who I’m speaking to, and create work that gives people a reason to connect because the stories that stay with us are the ones that make us feel alive or even ponder a little deeper.
I’m always learning new things, and more often than not, it’s the people around me who inspire me most. If anything here resonates with you, or you just feel like saying hi, I’d love to connect! :)
In my free time...
I enjoy creating video edits inspired by my favorite singers and TV shows, which I share across TikTok and Instagram.
Video editing allows me to experiment with pacing, music, and visuals to express emotion within a short time frame while continuously refining my technical skills. This creative practice has taught me immense patience, organization, and how to communicate compelling and creative messages efficiently. Engaging with audience feedback also helps me identify areas for growth and pushes me to stay adaptable, creatively driven, and inspired.
I also love playing the guitar, filming covers, and discovering new music to add to my Spotify playlists!
